About Us

Student Book Exchange is the official bookstore of Forest Institute. We also carry books and supplies for Missouri State University, Ozarks Technical Community College, Evangel University, and Webster University’s Ozarks Regional Campus. In addition to these schools, we gladly accept special orders for other universities including Drury University, University of Missouri, and Southwest Baptist University.

In addition to textbooks, we also carry school supplies, calculators, greek items and officially licensed Missouri State gifts and apparel.

History

Student Book Exchange was founded by Kenneth Washam in 1964 in a small building across from Missouri State University. The mission was simple: save students money.

While the company has grown significantly over the past 45 years, it is still owned and operated by the Washam family and the mission to save students money remains the same.
